"The 14th Múscailt Arts Festival invites all students, staff, alumni and the public to enjoy a week of visual art, talks, music, spectacle, performance and literature on campus. Highlights include a portrait painter in residence, a Victorian Funfair and a show on Delia Murphy. Student highlights include The Drowsy Chaperone musical by GUMS, the Witless Band Competition Final, Photosoc's FOCUS 14 and new work by Dansoc and Dramsoc. Múscailt is organised by the Arts & Theatre Office at NUI Galway."

"Tugann téama na bliana seo, 'Gáire, Cothú, Grá', tacaíocht ar an spreag chrutaitheach a sreabhann ionainn gan súil leí. Tá céad mile fáilte roimh chách páirt a ghlacadh."

"This year's theme, 'Laugh, Nourish, Love' features artists at play. Múscailt allows us to look within, to have a laugh and to highlight our strengths in all of the artforms. Everyone is welcome to participate and almost all events are free of charge."
